Only 1.5 km walk away from LaSpa is Arvo Pärt Centre which combines the composer’s personal archive with an information and music centre. It is an open meeting place for musicians, researchers and music lovers—for anyone interested in Arvo Pärt’s music and the world of ideas.
Opening hours of the Arvo Pärt Centre
From October 1 to April 30, Wed-Sun 12:00–17:00.
From May 1 to September 30, Wed-Sun 12:00 – 18:00.
Guests are welcome to visit the café and the small exhibition area for children.

Guided pre booked tours in Arvo Pärt Centre
Arvo Pärts Centre invites visitors to explore the Arvo Pärt Centre building and learn more about their daily activities and broader goals. By walking together through the Centre’s unique building, you will see what kinds of documents the Arvo Pärt archives hold and what they can tell us about the composer’s work. You will learn about the literature in the composer’s library, find out who has been the most significant interpreters of Arvo Pärt’s music for the composer himself, and why the building includes a chapel and a lookout tower.
The tour also allows visitors to glimpse some of Arvo Pärt’s manuscripts and listen to his music.
It is also possible to watch a short documentary film (20 min) about Arvo Pärt and his work.
Tower
The tower of the Arvo Pärt Centre is open for visitors from spring
till autumn during the opening hours of the Centre. In 2022 it is
possible to visit the tower from May 4 to October 2. The elevator of the tower
can hold up to 8 people. The tower can be accessed with the ticket
of the Centre.
